My Experience: Even though I donated and got access to the full version of MCL, there were still a handful of channels that MCL couldn’t figure out what logo to use. You definitely want to keep Flash up to date, and this way it will do it on its own without you having to deal with pop up boxes that you need to connect a mouse to the HTPC to deal with. Seemingly some of you really jump thru some unnecessary hoops to have Kodi scrape for you when all you need is MCM.Another heavy hitter in the video streaming arena is Hulu. I run Kodi as the interface for all my media servers on the 2019 Pro without issue, tho I also use MCM to setup all my metadata manually with my content as I rip it (not the internal scrappers & Kodi only reads it/nevr changes anything) so I'm in control of everything it downloads & the size thereof. Kodi on Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro - Filled up my storage, moved it to external and playing anything is slow as cold molasses. I set all my metadata manually with MCM right along side my media, that way Kodi only reads it & never changes/downloads anything. This is but 1 of the reasons why I don't rely on Kodi to do anything but read my metadata & play my files, I do all my metadata with MCM. I switched from MCM to TMM due to TMM being able to be run in a docker on Unraid where all my media files are kept anyway.įor years I have been stuck with this thumbnail for all of my movies in the Kodi library, and it's driving me crazy! 😫 I'm hardwired to my Windows PC, and my movies are stored in a Western Digital NAS drive.
